-ne well, it’s that time of year again. time for kids to be going to summer camp (not that that hasn’t been going on for some time now). and also the time of year for boys scouts to be going to camp. certainly the first year since i was eleven that i have gone a year without any summer camps.just us four older children went to church this morning (since papa is at summer camp and mom stayed home with the little tykes because owen ain’t feelin’ so swell). just about the time i decided i was going to get up so we could go to church again, mom announced that we wouldn’t be going, and that we were going to the track. now i know i’ve been playing ultimate and stuff (which has been quite tiring) but that doesn’t quite compare to just running and running and running on the track, which i haven’t done on a consistent day to day basis since last year.

Array Alan and I are supposed to be going to the drive-in tomorrow to make up for the incident when we were supposed to go with Brittany and Devin. I am glad that I will be teaching and working at the office this summer because it will give me an opportunity to save one check and put the other one in my savings/checking account at the Credit Union. So that’s the check that I’ll split up in the bank. I’ll put 00 in checkings, 00 in savings and 00 in Christmas club. By the end of the summer, I should have 00 in savings, and 00 in Christmas Club. There’s no telling how much I’ll hopefully have in checking, but that’s where I’ll put my check from the office.

These two opposite worlds had a well that would spew out into the abyss and mixing of the two would create the giants of Ymer and Audhumbla.These two giants, especially Ymer will eventually play a central role in the story of creation within Norse Mythology.Ymer is not an ordinary giant for he had four mouths, which took nourishment from a giant cow (Audhumbla) by suckling her four teats at the same time.This cow is the origin of the Norse pantheon, for her breath created a man (Bure), who somehow found a wife and subsequently created the original pantheon of gods that would include Odin, Vile, and Ve.Ymer was not inactive himself;

Was soll ich sagen…

Was soll ich sagen…
I’m driving for about 10 hours a day, so you can see I have a lot of time to think and to day-dream as well. Anyway, on the way out here, I couldn’t help but think about my life, what I have done, and also about my childhood. I thought of writing her another letter, but this time sending the letter to all my family, kids and all. If I get into a sticky situation, I don’t like to have to face people if I even think they might want to reject me.Anyway, you might say it’s all in my head, I just think the worse, or I’m too negative, or whatever.

-ne Master’s Nationals Colorado Springs, ColoradoSo far, I’m seeded 2nd in the 200m. I actually took an excellent line for Alpenrose. The start was good- almost too good. The first half lap, I kept tellling my self this isnt good enough- go harder.” I felt great and was able to keep spinning in the last quarter lap, which according to the folks watching was the difference between 1st and 2nd, My 38.38 time was a huge P.R over my time late fall in L.A. Then we- Donna, Brian, Allane, Steve, and Darrell went to Old Chicago for Pizza and beer, and to Michelles for Sundaes.

-ne Trouble and Trouble-ette(Cousin Jimmy and me)World War II had just ended when our parents decided to become restauranteurs and open The 54 Diner. It was the natural outcome of giving two six-year-olds complete freedom nearly to do exactly what they pleased while the parents worked the whole day long dishing up food for hungry truckers.Although our antics produced no permanent harm to anyone and we all made it out of that period of time alive, it is not a pretty story.

Array-ne In Tropics widen, fringe areas drier, experts say, from the Associated Press, I found the following quote:Geographically, the tropical region is a wide swath around Earth’s middle stretching from the Tropic of Cancer, just south of Miami, to the Tropic of Capricorn, which cuts Australia almost in half. The tropics are at latitudes 23.5 and -23.5 degrees (I’ll use and - for north and south here.) So it’s easy to see where the one-quarter figure might come from — the tropics span a total of 47 degrees of latitude, out of the full range of 180, and 47/180 is essentially 1/4.But there’s an interesting fact about the surface area of a sphere.
The Steelers had a lot of trouble containing the then-unknown Welker in last year’s season opener against the Dolphins. Welker led the Dolphins in receiving with 67 yards and contributed a 47-yard punt return to set up Miami’s first score.Even with the secondary’s fine play against Cincinnati, there were throws there that Carson Palmer simply didn’t make.

-ne Stars and other objects that are bound to spiral galaxies rotate around a common center. The required velocity for this depends on the attractive force acting on the star, which results from the matter content in the galaxy. The larger the force, the higher the velocity has to be for a stable orbit.Measuring the velocities of stars as a function of their distance to the galaxy’s center therefore allows to draw conclusions about the matter distribution inside the galaxy. The challenge here is that the ratio of dark matter to visible matter (the mass-to-light ratio, commonly denoted M/L) depends on the type of galaxy.

In short, it’s a great place for a corporate meal that will impress a client without making them think you’re trying to sleep with them.Riingo’s front is a trendy lounge with cushy sofas and a long bar. Turtle ordered the miniscule Beer Braised Short Ribs, served with an apple puree and sliced hearts of palm. Here, the detail was the accompanying side dish: Taro Fries. Instead, they’re made from some sort of mixed vegetable puree that turns the fries lavender-white. Since we were extra hungry when we ordered, we also asked for two extra side dishes: sauteed Baby Bok Choi, something I love, and the Riingo Fries, which are pretty much french fries but with some herbs sprinkled on top. The fries were a tad overcooked. We were extremely full by this point, so naturally we ordered dessert. Turtle ordered the Warm Chocolate Cake, a small lava cake with a side of vanilla ice cream. I therefore ordered the Espresso Creme Brulee (and a regular coffee), which came with a small dish of chocolate sorbet. The stiff corporate atmosphere melted away once you sat down and realized you could talk loudly and no one would care, and I certainly can’t make any but slight criticisms of the food. I’d definitely go back and I certainly think it’s worth a try for something a little different. Our meals, which were a beer, a soda, two appetizers, two entrees, two side dishes, two desserts and a coffee, plus tax and tip, was an even 60.

Array-ne I have lived in downtown Vancouver for a bit more than five and a half years, now, and I continue to be amazed at the fact that I can live so closely to all the important theatres. The Tinseltown, by the way, is currently the only theatre in the downtown area that has stadium-style seating, and it is also the only first-run theatre in the downtown area that is not owned (in whole or part) by either Famous Players or Cineplex Odeon. All of these theatres are within a half-hour’s walk from my place, and it is fairly rare that I have to go any further afield for a press or preview screening. The one major exception is the SilverCity Metropolis theatre in Burnaby, which is the nearest stadium-style theatre to Vancouver that is run by one of the two main Canadian theatre chains.

After the abysmal Daredevil, I can’t claim I went after this seemingly pointless spin-off, featuring the love/bane of Daredevil’s existence, the mysterious and cold-blooded hired assassin Elektra, with any high hopes. It’s to Frank Miller’s credit that he never allowed her to become an all-out good gal, but rather stay ambiguous and dangerous to everybody around her – and her death in the comic book is still somewhat of a trauma for me, after reading it for the first time when I was around nine or ten.

I was named after Keely Smith who sang with Louie Prima (That Old Black Magic).2. I used to want boys to know that because I thought it would convince them that I really was and that they should ask me to the dance or the movies.5. My parents did not give me a middle name because my mom thought my name was long enough. After Daniel proposed, I decided I wanted to take my entire last name as my middle name.8. Originally, we had thought about using all the letters in both of our last names and making a new one. You may call me Kiwi only if you have known me since high school and (I liked you) or are my Aunt Susan, otherwise I will think you are making fun of my name and that pisses me off.15. The only one who calls me babe or baby is Daniel and I like it that way. Daniel also likes to call me Keel. I met my husband in January of 2003 and we hit it off straight away even though I thought there was a possibility that he might not be 18 yet because he looked so young. I knew the first time Daniel and I sat and talked that we were going to be good friends, but neither of us was looking for a relationship at the time.28. I was just finalizing a nasty divorce (that took 18 months) after six years of a horrible marriage.29. Bailey is named for our love of Baileys Irish Cream. We also have a 1 and a half year old (6-18-2005) Pug named Max.37. In six years I performed in 4 musicals and 4 operas with that company. Daniel and I share an addiction to buying DVDs.61. We turned off our cable a few years ago because we thought there was nothing good on TV and we had other things we wanted to do with our time. On really stressful, sad occasions I beg Daniel to go buy me cigarettes or I try to get him all excited about going out to get cigarettes. At age 28, I still required Daniel to hold my hand when a nurse gave me shots or took blood. The mere thought of getting an IV put in makes me all woozy.72. I got it two years ago after a normal work injury. Back then doctor’s thought by cutting off the limb, the pain would go away. I used to take 4 different meds daily after going through dozens to find some that would work for me. I stopped taking all of my meds over a year ago when Daniel and I started trying for a baby.79. They helped me control the insulin resistance and Daniel had to give me shots in my stomach to make me more fertile.83. Someday, Daniel and I would like to travel to Europe and I would also really like him to show me some of Japan and China since he got to go there during college and his stories are so interesting.Labels: Lists

I’m a qualified electrical fitter/mechanic - electrician by trade. I had my first car, the Green Machine, otherwise known as The Beast, a green ‘75 Toyota Corolla, for eleven and a half years - it’s still in the family.9. I am driving only my second car - a ‘96 EF Ford Falcon.15. I also collect stamps - a philatelist.19. Represented the Tatiara in three Burdon Shield (under 16) cricket matches taking a total of six catches and scoring 1 n.o., 1 and 0.27. My best bowling figures in a match were 4 for 26 for North Gambier C grade in a semi-final where I was on a hatrick after taking the fourth wicket but it was the last of the match and I also scored 32 runs in that game.28. in approximately 45 minutes vs Kongorong for North Gambier C grade which included three 6s (my only 6s!).29. My in-laws live in Korea - pretty close to the perfect distance away.42. I have one of the best relationships with my mother-in-law - we don’t speak the same language.43. Favourite Formula 1 driver - Ayrton Senna.44. Can say my name in a few languages - and it makes speakers of that language laugh.47. Only ever attended three concerts - MC Solaar in Copenhagen (left before he came on as it was too loud), Hunters & Collectors at Telstra Rally Australia and Avril Lavigne at Challenge Stadium, Perth.50. Passed my driving test first time - both car and motorbike.52. Longest time that I have grown a beard is six months - from the time I turned 18.59. Favourite Slovak phrase - proti smeru hodinovych ruciciek - anticlockwise.61. Favourite TV shows - Seinfeld and Red Dwarf.65. Favourite movie - Falling Down or anything with Arnie.66. Stayed in Carbisdale Castle, Scotland - the world’s best Youth Hostel.71. I’ve come within six inches of scoring a hole-in-one but never managed to score an eagle. Nicknames include Scoohooter (I rode a YB100 Yamaha - a little motorbike), Hammy, Hammus Bonus, Big Ears, Prince Charles, Green Eggs (and Ham - I love this one), Hammy Hamster, Hamster and Wingnut. Never scored a goal in three years of junior soccer or in indoor soccer. I’ve had more than 46 bases and extensions (fillings) done to my teeth - that’s a lot of needles.85. I am one of the world’s worst dancers - think Elaine on Seinfeld.100. My favourite subject is myself - which, if you have reached this point, you would probably already have worked out.Man, this was much more difficult than I expected.

My best bowling figures in a match were 4 for 26 for North Gambier C grade in a semi-final where I was on a hatrick after taking the fourth wicket but it was the last of the matc
